4th Plane Jaiant releases, is officially launched.

Element 57 releases "Radiate", a six-song CD, availability immediately
on-line.

Band in studio for release of “Radiate” the group ’s 3rd
Studio Album under new name ELEMENT57.

The song “Speak So Loud” was chosen as part of But Indie Music
Compilation CD sponsored by Black Dog Promotions out of Tempe, AZ. Over 5,000
copies were distributed throughout the music industry for review, radio play & press.

Contest. Online voting, combination of Industry Representatives and Website Fans.
Site gets thousands of hits daily. As a result, MakeAStar Records licensed the
winning song to be included on their annual compilation album shopped throughout
the industry to record labels and publishers.

Signed licensing contracts with MotherWest Productions and Mpx 2000- both
companies will place 4PJ songs in major film release soundtracks/television

Remix of “Sacrifice” being engineered and produced by Markus Dravs-
European Producer (U2, Bjork, Depeche Mode, Peter Gabriel) in France as potential

sampler disc put out by RPMDirect.com. The annual cd goes out to over 11,000
industry professionals including Record Company A&R representatives, producers,
directors, engineers, publicists, national magazines.

A site dedicated to allowing other musician’s around the world to review
songs submitted by Independent artists.

15 Z100 stations from across the country interviewed the band. Due to the interviews,
group receives radio play on the #1 corporate radio station in the country.

4PJ headlines first ever Northwest Musician’s Union "Annual Showcase" offering
the top acts the Union has to offer in the Pacific Northwest.

Showcased at MusicFestNW, an annual Portland, OR music festival showcasing
the best Independent musical talent in the nation.

4th Plane Jaiant signs contract with SonicBlue Inc. to be uploaded on the most
widely sold digital mp3 player in the world, the Rio 800. 4PJ was one of four
acts included, and the only group not on a major label. The product sells over
300,000 copies per year.

Finalists in “Jim Beam National Rock Band Search”- representative
of 12 western states.
4PJ was flown (all expenses paid) to Denver, CO to perform at the Hard
Rock Café in front of industry producers, record companies and promoters
(Including Mark Bleisner (Lyle Lovett, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, The
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band).

Won “Independent Music Award”- song “Longer Way To Run” (Bipolar,
2001) for best reggae song. Over 15,000 entries to the contest world wide. 12
winners- 1 per genre.
As a result of the contest:
4PJ was featured in the “Musician’s Atlas”- nationally
distributed magazine targeted at musician’s and industry representatives.
4PJ song “Longer Way To Run” was featured on “Joe’s
Grille”- nationally syndicated radio show airing on over 800 commercial
and college radio stations nationwide.
1999, 2000
Showcased at NACA (National Association of College Activities) toured a
seven state area in support of “Tideline”. Both colleges and
venues. Sold about 4,000 copies on the road.
1999–2000
Added to over 130 radio stations up and down the west coast. “Queen for
a day” charts CMJ report and is added to 5 top 5 college radio station
request lists.
June 1999
Semi-finalists Billboard magazine “Best Unsigned Band” contest.
Over 20,000 bands submitted material for the contest. Decisions were made by
a panel of Industry Artists and Producers (Lisa Loeb, Kenny Arnoff, Elton John,
Melissa Etheridge, Glenn Ballard, Hugh Padham)
